It’s finally confirmed that Nothing will be announcing its Nothing Phone 3a series on March 4 after months of speculations and rumors. Nothing announced this via a teaser video posted on X, and it apparently reveals the new camera module. This further corroborates previously leaked information, hinting that Nothing’s latest phone is going to boast its first-ever telephoto camera.
The announcement comes out and says a series, which means at least two devices are going to launch. This release is, however, all about the 3a series, so the Nothing Phone 3 itself is unlikely to show up any time soon.
Expected Models in the Series

But that would make it more of a mid-range model, while its counterpart will add something quite unique for Nothing’s smartphones.

As for the hardware, the phone will reportedly appear in two options of RAM and storage:

Nothing Phone 3a Pro
Although not much is known about the Nothing Phone 3a Pro, leaks say it will come in a single variant: 12GB RAM + 256GB storage. The same leaks claim it will launch in black and gray color options, while the standard 3a will launch in black and white.
What This Means for Nothing’s Future
While the 3a series is a promising mid-range gadget, it does not seem to push in top-shelf features. However, a telephoto addition is a quite appreciable upgrade.
In addition, these leaks have hinted that the Nothing Phone 3 may further improve the specifications, making the eventual release all the more highly anticipated. Though there is no date for the flagship Nothing Phone 3, the event on March 4 will still mark a significant milestone in the line of smartphones for the company.
